Description

this wine has made us change our principles! (togehter with the Pinot Noir Rosè from Salviano) We wanted to include only autoctonous grapes into our selection of wines. Since the 2016 vintage, the Solideo is a pure Syrah, we like it very much. It has a lot of Lago di Corbara terroir. Sipping it is feeling the sun set over the lake. Among the "Super Umbrian" it has a very good price/quality ratio.

Description

This is one of our biodynamic wines. We are not followers of the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner, but some of the biodynamic producers make damned good wine. This is one of the best Morellino's we ever drank.

The Nose is intense and persistent, with calls of violet and very ripe red fruits: strawberries, cherries and plums. The succession of perfumes is accompanied with notes of jam and spices: liquorice, black pepper, cloves and a pinch of vanilla. In the palate the wine has a soft attack and velvety, is hot in body and with good acidity. The tannins are getting rounder by the time. The aftertaste reveals sweet notes of vanilla.
